RED RIBBON WEEK

Red Ribbon Week was held at AMS during the week of Oct. 27 - Oct. 31

Caity Rice, Heidi Begley, Kendrah Skirvin (Back) Jesse Satterwhite, Sam Richardson, Hannah Furnish, Molly Richardson, Hailey White and Ally Ingalls with their stuffed animals.

Activities were:


Monday - "Drugs are Unbearable", students carried favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal.

*Tracy Spencer of the Indiana State Police came in and gave a presentation to the 8th graders about the dangers of prescription drug abuse and meth.

*Red Ribbons were handed out to all students.  A drawing was held for prizes!

Tuesday - "Sock it to Drugs", students wore their favorite silly socks and slippers.

Wednesday - "On Fire to prevent drug abuse", students wore red.  All students who wore red received a bracelet.
Thursday - "Hats off to staying drug free", students wore their favorite hats.
Friday - "Staying drug free is a team effort", all students were invited to wear gear from their favorite high school, college, or professional sports teams.

Thanks to everyone who particpated.
