Austin Cross Country Summer Camp
June 4-15
Grades 3rd thru 7th (2017-18 school year)
The AHS cross country team will host its first annual Cross Country Summer Camp for boys and girls from grades 3rd thru 7th. Boys and girls from the AHS Cross Country team will be there to help runners each day. The camp will focus on distance running, stretching techniques, proper form, and how to properly hydrate during and after runs.
The cost of the camp is $20, which includes a camp t-shirt.
Camp will run daily from 6pm-7pm at the Austin High School track. Age appropriate races will happen on Saturday June 15th starting at6pm. Awards will be given for top boys and girls in each division.
Runners must wear tennis shoes, socks, and loose comfortable clothing each day.
